Cookie Policy
Draft, last updated: [DA INSERIRE: data]
Draft: This is a draft based on how the website actually works. It must be reviewed by a lawyer or privacy professional before it goes live. Text in square brackets is a placeholder to be replaced.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser so it can remember information between pages or visits. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way; in this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
This policy is provided by nBang, i.e. [DA INSERIRE: ragione sociale], with registered office at [DA INSERIRE: sede legale], VAT no. [DA INSERIRE: P.IVA], under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021. For general information on how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
2. At a glance
This website only uses first-party technical cookies, which it needs in order to work and which do not require your consent. We do not use profiling or advertising cookies, nor any third-party cookies. Our fonts are served from our own server, and we do not load external content (maps, videos, social media embeds) without your consent.
3. Technical cookies we use
Name · purpose · duration · type:
- nbang_consent · stores your cookie choices so the banner does not reappear on every page · 6 months · technical, first-party
- nbang_lang · remembers the language you selected manually · 12 months · technical, first-party
- nbang_admin · keeps you signed in to the restricted admin area; set only for site administrators after login · until the session ends, up to 8 hours · technical, first-party
4. Statistics (only with your consent)
The website does not currently use any analytics tool. The banner includes a “Statistics” category, switched off by default, which is in place for possible future use.
If we enable it, we will use [DA CONFERMARE: strumento di analytics], a tool hosted on our own servers (self-hosted) that does not share data with third parties. It will only load after you have given your consent, or will run in a cookieless mode with anonymised IP addresses. In that case we will update this policy and the cookie table.
5. How you give and change your consent
On your first visit, a banner tells you about our use of cookies and lets you accept, reject or customise the non-technical categories, using buttons of equal prominence. Until you make a choice, no cookies other than technical ones are set.
In line with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of 10 June 2021:
Your choices are logged so that we can demonstrate consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR): we store a random consent ID, the choices you made, the version of this policy, the date and time, a hash of your IP address and your browser’s user agent. We will show you the banner again when your choices expire (after 6 months) or if the cookie categories change significantly.
- closing the banner with the X counts as rejecting non-technical cookies;
- scrolling or carrying on browsing does not count as consent;
- you can change or withdraw your choices at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer of every page.
6. Links to third-party services
The website contains plain links to WhatsApp (Meta), Instagram and LinkedIn, which do not load any scripts or set any third-party cookies. Only if you click one are you taken to the external service, which may use its own cookies under its own cookie and privacy policies.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Please note that if you block technical cookies, some features may not work properly (for example, the site will not remember your language or your cookie preferences). Instructions are available in your browser’s help pages (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
8. Contact and your rights
If you have questions about this policy, write to [DA INSERIRE: email privacy]. Your rights and how to exercise them are described in our Privacy Policy.
